Why “Do I Have Enough Money?” Is The Wrong Question.

Many of us spend lots of time wondering if we have enough money. Are we asking ourselves the right question, is there a better way to frame things?

We think there is; we believe the question we should ask ourselves and our partners is ”Am I getting the best possible life with the money I have?”.

Instead of focusing on your money, focus on how you can use your money to ensure you do everything you want in life. The focus should be on your Return on Life, not your Return on Investment. What’s the point in having millions invested if you are not doing what you want to do all the time?

Here are some metrics that we consider to be really important for a happy life:

– A sense of security and peace of mind.
– The sense that you’re making progress towards your goals.
– The feeling that you can do what you want, when you want with whom you want.

It is so easy to get distracted by the constant focus on money and on investment returns, try to make sure you don’t.  Life is not rehearsal, time is short so don’t get distracted, focus on what really matters and get living.
